Stay Stylish and Fabulous x
DIY French Manicure!
I’ve decided to share my version of 'DIY French
Manicure', as I’m not a nail technician nor I have I ever studied Beauty
Therapy. I feel that each and every one
of us can learn to do this if we have steady hand. So here I’m going to give a step by step
tutorial on doing a French Manicure and I’ll also be outlining what you will
need to have them perfect French Manicured Nails.
What you will NEED!
As I have a set by No7 Ultimate Nails
The colours I will be using here our Nougat which is a light
shade of pink, White tip and clear nail polish, I’ll also be using No7 Younger
Longer Hand cream, No7 Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Care, Nail Brush and Nail
File.
(Any brand of nail polish, hand cream and Nail & Cuticle
Cream can be used as long as the nail polish shades our similar to the above
shades in which I mentioned. Oh and do use a good Nail File)
So Let’s Begin....
STEP 1 First I like to wash my hands in warm water or leave
them to soak for a few seconds, I then take my nail brush and scrub it along the
underneath of my finger tips to get rid of any dirt that’s under my nails.
STEP 2 Next I use some nail remover on a makeup pad to take
off any nail varnish I may have already on my nails. If you don’t have any nail remover handy take
a clear base coat nail polish and apply over the nails.
STEP 3 Now take some hand cream and massage into the palm of
your hands. Then use some Nail and Cuticle cream, apply to the cuticles of each
nail and massage.
STEP 4 Now use your nail file to shape your nails.
STEP 5 Apply the light shade of pink in my case it’s the
Nougat Shade, if you feel that you may need another coat apply a second. Then
leave to dry.
STEP 6 Apply the White tip, using a steady hand try to paint
around the tip of your nail also make sure to have an ear bud handy as these can
be used if you make a mistake. If you
don’t have a steady hand, you can purchase White Strips which our sticky pieces
of paper that go across the top of your nails leaving the tips exposed so you
can apply the white polish, this will then give your nails straight tips. Then
leave to dry.
STEP 7 Apply the clear nail polish (Top Coat) to your nails
to finish off your perfect French Manicured Nails
And ta’da that’s how you get lovely French Manicured Nails
by Doing It Yourself.
