EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed my post on my Morning Skincare Routine.

For today's post I'm going to share with you my Evening Skincare Routine.

Now, I just love getting home in the evenings and removing all my makeup, usually I wear quite a full face of makeup during the winter months, but during the summer months I have been wearing a lot more lighter makeup products which has allowed my skin to breath during the really warm days.

To remove my makeup, first I apply the No7 Radiant Results Revitalising Cleanser to my skin, removing all my makeup using a hot cloth. I find the cleanser amazing as it leaves my skin cleansed, soft and revitalised.  I then apply some of my favourite toner, the Boots Glycerin and Rosewater Toner which refreshes and cools my skin.

Sometimes I tend to apply a face mask to my skin once a week. On this particular evening I applied this Rejuvenating Bio-Cellulose Mask from Timeless Truth Mask which contained Immortelle Flower Extract and Hyaluronic Acid.

Next, I then applied the Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Cream which contains hyaluronic acid and aloe bio ferment which hydrates my skin leaving my skin looking plump and glowing.

I then apply Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream to brighten and depuff my eyes. This refreshes my very tired eyes tackling my dark circles and puffiness to help my eyes look rested and very refreshed.

Lastly, I apply the Nuxe Multi Purpose Dry Oil to my skin. This oil contains seven precious 100% botanical oils featuring a delicate and floral scent. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth.

I hope you all enjoyed my Evening Skincare Routine, let me know what is your routine and the products you use in the comment box below.

MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all keeping cool and hydrated during this really warm spell of weather. I thought today would be the perfect day to share with you all my Morning Skincare Routine with you all.

The skincare routine that I like to use each morning leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated especially on these warm days.

I firstly start off by using Xpel Tea Tree Facial Scrub which removes any dirt/impurities that has built up on my skin overnight. I then remove the scrub with a damp muslin cloth.  I then apply my favourite toner which is the Boots Traditional Skin Care Glycerin and Rosewater toner to my skin using a cotton pad.  This toner refreshes and hydrates my skin leaving it soft and smooth which is very much needed on day's like this.

Next I apply, Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream to brighten and depuff my eyes. This refreshes my very tired eyes tackling my dark circles and puffiness to help my eyes look rested and very refreshed. I then spray a few pumps of the Emma Hardie Plump and Glow Hydrating Facial Mist which helps to boost hydration and plump my dehydrated skin.

I then apply my Nivea Express Primer 24h Moisture Gel to my skin, I absolutely love this moisturiser. It not only moisturises my skin but adds a hint of primer which allows me to apply my makeup straight away. Next, I apply the No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Facial Suncream to my skin which gives my skin advanced protecting against the ageing effects of the sun.

Also, throughout the warm days I love to apply La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water to my skin which sooths and refreshes my skin.

I hope you all enjoyed Morning Skincare Routine, make sure to check back next week for my Evening Skincare routine.

SKINCARE TIPS WHEN WEARING A MASK

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely day so far.

For today's post i wanted to share with you all some Skincare Tips when wearing a Mask.

If you're like me and are suffering breakouts on your skin due to the prolonged wearing of a face mask throughout the day. Then I have some really good tips which will help to keep breakouts at bay.

With countless people all over the world struggling with skin issues day in day out, the recent Covid-19 pandemic is most certainly not helping at all due to the prolonged wearing of a face mask.

However many people our battling with flare ups and other skin conditions such as breakouts, rashes and eczema as a result of not only wearing masks but of the stress brought on by the world wide pandemic.

Even though wearing a face mask or face covering has become part of the new 'normal' it has led to many of us struggling with Acne or Maskne which occurs when sweat, oil and bacteria are trapped on your skin while wearing a mask.

Below I have listed some tip and tricks to help you prevent any breakouts due to wearing a mask:

1: Clean your mask: If you use a cloth mask ensure that you clean it regularly, If you are using a disposable mask change it as required.

2: Invest in a unscented or fragrance free cleanse: If your skin is oily/acne prone then use a foaming cleanser and if your skin is dry/irritated or if you have sensitive skin then go for a cream based cleanser. Use the cleanser twice a day which will help your skin.

3: Moisturise your skin after Cleansing: Moisturising your skin after cleansing is key to keeping the skin hydrated, prevent water loss and improve the barrier function of the skin.

4: Avoid Scrubs or Exfoliator's: Try to avoid Face Scrubs and Exfoliators as much as you can as this can cause further damage to the skins surface if your skin is becoming dry or irritated as a result of the prolonged wearing of a face covering/mask.

5: Use Barrier Creams to cover up Broken Areas: Consider using Barrier Creams such as Sudocrem or Petrolatum Jelly as a cover up during the night-time for any broken areas you have on your skin.

6: Avoid wearing Heavy Make-up: My last tip is to try and avoid wearing heavy makeup/foundation underneath your mask as it may lead to breakouts such as spots or acne.

I hope you all enjoyed my Skincare Tips when wearing a Mask and i hope they will help in keeping your skin looking and feeling amazing.

Chat to you all in my next post.

Love
