December Favourites

Happy New Year to you all.

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and an amazing New Year. Our Christmas was a quite one this year with plenty of sweet treats been eating along the way. It's incredible to think that 2019 is over and that we are in 2020, the year most defiantly flew by. Here's to a happy and healthy 2020!!

For today's post i'm going to be sharing with you all what products i have been loving for the month of December.
This month i have been loving a wide variety of products from beauty products to make up products, so lets jump right in to see what came out on top.

Benefit 'They're Real Double the Lip' Lipstick
My first favourite for the month of December is this Benefit-They're Real Double the Lip' Lipstick. I bought this lipstick a couple of months ago and i have to say its one of favourite everyday lipsticks for the past few months.
I love how it has a lipstick and liner all in one which gives you fuller looking lips in one easy stroke. Also with it the lipstick been semi-matte this allows the lipstick to stay longer on the lips with no smudging or re-applying needed.

DMM Pro Brow Tint

Next up is this Pro Brow Tint from DMM. I have loved using this Brow Tine over the past few months it really is amazing and it helps you achieve natural looking and definitive brows in seconds. If your like me in the mornings and don't have that much time to fill in your brows then you really need to purchase this product.
You simply apply to clean dry brows and brush over your brows to either create a natural look or a fuller look the decision is really yours.

No 7 Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer

On to my third favourite for the month of December and its this No7 Instant Illusion Airbrush Away Primer. I received this in my No7 Beauty Box a couple of months ago and have been using it every since.
This is really nice Primer which leaves your skin feeling incredible smooth and silky before applying Makeup. I also love how it keeps your makeup up on for longer throughout the day and night.

Sanctuary Spa Perfume

Next up is this Sanctuary Spa Perfume. This is one of my favourite perfumes to use everyday. I adore the scent which is a blend of exotic freshness such as citrus, jasmine and vanilla.
With all these beautiful scents blended together they leave a lasting scent all day.

PS Beauty Overnight Detox Mask

On to my fifth favourite for the month of December and its this Overnight Detox Mask from PS Beauty. I love to use this on my skin two nights a week. It helps keep my skin feeling and looking smoother and clearer.
Before i apply the mask i like to exfoliate my skin followed by toning and moisturising my face before applying the Overnight Mask as this allows it to soak well into the skin for better results. Then in the morning i like to wash the mask off using warm water, which leaves my skin feeling soft and revitalised.

Lancome Non-oily Cleanser for Sensitive Eyes

Next is this Non-oily Cleanser for Sensitive Eyes from Lancome. I love using using this Cleanser especially for my eyes as it removes Mascara and Eyeliner in seconds.
It doesn't cause an irritation on the eyes and leaves the skin feeling soft, clear and smooth. I also love how it leaves your eyes makeup clear too!!

Wella Pro Sugar Lift Spray

My final favourite for the month of December is this Sugar Lift Spray from Wella. Every since i got my hair cut into a shorter style i was recommended by my hair stylist to use this product to create a bit more volume in my hair, as my hair was really flat and was in need of some volume.
The rich flexible spray is infused with sugar which helps lift the hair leaving it shiny with a touchable grippy texture which keeps my hair full of volume throughout the day and night. I like to apply it on damp hair under the roots of the hair as this helps hold the volume once dried.

I hope you all enjoyed my November Favourites!!

November Favourites

Happy December to you all!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day. So the countdown to Christmas has begun, its crazy to think that its almost the end of the year. It really has went in the blink of an eye!!
On to today's post and for today's one i'm going to be sharing with you all my November Favourites Post. I have been using so many products this month and its been really difficult to narrow them down to my favourites but i have managed too.

No7 Micellair Cleansing Water
The first favourite for the month of November and its this No 7 Micellair Cleansing which i got in this years No7 Beauty Vault back in the Summer. I absolutely love this stuff and its definitely a firm favourite going forward in my beauty regime.
I love how it removes even the stubborn of makeup such as mascara in seconds. It also leaves your skin feeling soft, clear and refreshed. It also adds a glow to your skin just after i have cleansed it which is lovely.

Lacura Eye Shadow Palette
I picked up this Lacura Eye Shadow Palette a few months ago from Aldis Beauty Special Buy's. I heard some really good reviews that this palette was just as good as the Naked Palette from Urban Decay so i just had to pick it up to try it out.
Since using the palette, i have found it amazing, the pigment of the shades are rich and the once the shades are applied they just glide on.
I love this palette as it is filled with lovely Autumn/Winter Shades, which can be used for a day-time look or a glam night look, the choice is yours.

No 7 Lip Lacquer
Next up is this Lip Lacquer from No7, again i got this in my Beauty Vault Box back in the Summer. This is a gorgeous shade to wear this Autumn or Winter as its a shade that can be worn throughout the day or the night.
I adore this shade as the texture and colour pigment is just beautiful, plus it even lasts on your lips for longer throughout the day and night with its matte finish.

L'Oreal Rapid Revier Conditioner for Coloured Hair
On to my forth favourite for the month of November and it's this Rapid Reviver Conditioner from L'Oreal. As i have coloured hair i like to prolong the colour throughout washing my hair and with this rapid reviver conditioner, this helps to seal my colour for longer. I usually Shampoo my hair first then add a small amount of this conditioner making sure i cover from root to tip.
I then like to leave it on my hair for around 10 minutes so that it locks the colour in for longer. It leaves my hair feeling and looking amazing, i have been using it for the best part of a month now and i can really see a difference in my how my hair looks and feels.

No7 Bronzer
Next up is another No7 Product from the Beauty Vault and its this No7 Bronzer. This Bronzer is amazing, it glides on to the skin leaving an amazing radiant glow.
It also contours the face, leaving you with naturally contoured cheekbones. I also love the pigmentation of this Bronzer from No7 as it has a shimmery pigment which is just beautiful.

Sanctuary Charcoal Detox Shower Burst
My final favourite for the month of November is this Charcoal Detox Shower Burst from Sanctuary. I picked this product up in Boots.
As a huge lover of the Sanctuary range i was super excited to come across this product and try it out. As the product contains activated charcoal it helps to refresh the skin leaving it incredibly soft.

I hope you all enjoyed my November Favourites!!

September Favourites
For today's post i'm going to be sharing with you all my September Favourites. This months products are all affordable products from some of my favourite brands.

My first favourite is this Lacura Pink Mud Exfoliating Face Scrub. This stuff is amazing, i love using face scrubs as they exfoliate your skin leaving it clear and soft. I picked up this Lacura Pink Exfoliator in Aldi during their Special Beauty Buys and its incredible.
I love using this on my skin at least twice a week as it helps keep my skin clear and glowing, it also refreshes and keeps my skin looking healthy and soft. If you are looking for a scrub that not only keeps your skin soft but keeps it looking raident and clear i would defiantly recommend this one.
€4.99 @ Aldi

Next up is this Flormar Brush Cleaner which i picked up in my local pharmacy. As you would have seen over on my instagram page i recently bought the Style Pro Cleanser and i have been having a tough time trying to source they style pro cleanser so i picked up this Brush Cleaner from Flormar to see if this would work and it does, in fact its amazing stuff.
It cleans my brushes in no time removing the most stubborn of makeup such as my foundation brushes which do be caked with foundation, They leave my brushes feeling like new.
€4.99 @ Vance Wilson Pharmacy

On to my next two favourites and its these Anti Aging Collagen Filler Cream and Serum from the #6 Range from Dealz. I purchased these two a few months ago to try out on my skin as i hard some good reviews on them.
Both of these products are amazing and i love to use them on my skin first thing in the morning and in the evening time too. They leave my skin feeling refreshed and soft after using them. Plus, they are even affordable without breaking the bank.
€1.50 @ Dealz

On to my Fifth Favourith for the month of August and its this Highlighter from Lacura. This is another amazing product which i picked up in Aldi's during their special beauty buys event. As i'm a huge fan of highlighting products for the face i just had to pick this up to try out.
Its an amazing highlighter that is packed with some gorgeous shimmer pigments to give some beautiful natural looks. I love to apply this product using a fan brush as it applies to skin really nice.
€4.99 @ Aldi

On to my next favourite and its this Facemask Brush from Tru Beauty, I picked this up in Dealz as i have forever been looking for a facemask brush. Before i have been using a foundation brush as i find they apply a facemask much more even on to the skin.
This facemask brush from Tru Beauty is amazing as it applies the facemask product amazingly to the skin.
€1.50 @ Dealz

On to my seventh favourite for is this Healthy Glow Retinol Toner from Lacura. I love this stuff, to be honest this is the second bottle i have bought in the last few months.
This toner is probably one of the best toners i have been used, it tones my skin just after cleansing and gives the skin a boost of freshness leaving the skin feeling incredible soft and smooth.
€4.99 @Aldi

My final favourite product for the month of September is this Cover Concealer from MUA. I decided to pick this up a couple of months ago to try out as i was a little intrigued to see how it would work on my skin.
I have to say it conceals really well and blends brilliantly into the skin. I decided to go for a light shade as it works really well in not only concealing the area but lightening the area too, and best of all it last's all day!!
€1.50 @Dealz

First i am going to start off by sharing with you my Morning Routine followed by my Evening Routine.....so here we go.....

My Morning Routine goes a bit like this, as i work 5 day's a week i am generally up very early in the morning around 7 or so!! First i use a Facial Scrub, the scrub that i have been using over the passed couple of months is this CUCUMBER FACIAL SCRUB from Tesco,

I firstly pour a small amount on to my hands and then scrub into my face, i then rinse with warm water or if i'm in a rush i will just get a face clot and rinse under the tap and then ripe the scrub from my face!! Once i have done that i then pat dry and apply my favourite Face Cream at the minute which is NIVEA DAILY ESSENTIALS EXPRESS HYDRATION PRIMER which moisturises and provides a smooth base to apply your Make-up, I have been using this for a while now and i have to say it leaves your skin feeling soft and ready for the day ahead!!

So skipping on......to my EVENING ROUTINE, this is the part i love, removing my Makeup!! I firstly take a face wipe and remove the majority of my make-up first!!

I bought this for only €2.69 as it was on offer in Lloyds Pharmacy, but you can pick it up in any store such as Boots!!

On to my the last product that i bought and that is this P.S LOVE GEL NAIL POLISH which i bought in PENNEY'S (PRIMARK) i bought in this Light Pink Shade for only €2.00, which is a perfect shade for summer!!

Generally i would usually wash my everyday Makeup Brushes every 2 weeks or so depending on how badly they need to be cleaned. The method i use to clean them leaves my brushes feeling super soft and fluffy, i do love the way they feel after they have been cleaned. Cleaning your Makeup Brushes is sooooo important. To be honest with you all, its kinda really bad using dirty Makeup Brushes on your skin. Just think of the amounts of bacteria that is filling up on your Makeup Brushes if you don't wash or clean them regularly.. :-( Defiantly not all that nice. So come on girls lets get them Makeup Brushes and give them a good wash......

STEP 1: First take a Small/Medium Bowl, some Baby Shampoo/Baby Bath (Mild, Soap Free, Hypoallergenic), a Towel and of course your Makeup Brushes. (I have had to use this Baby Bath from Cussons Mum & Me as i didn't have any Baby Shampoo handy)

STEP 2: Take your Small/Medium Bowl and add a small amount of Baby Shampoo/Baby Bath into it.

STEP 3: Next add some hot water to your Small/Medium Bowl, do add a little cold water to cool it down a bit.

STEP 4: Then place all your Makeup Brushes into your Small/Medium Bowl, or as many as you fit from the picture below....

STEP 5: Leave your Makeup Brushes to rest in the bowl for a couple of minutes (as you can see from the picture below, i have had to take some of my makeup brushes out because there wasn't enough room). Once you have left them to rest in the bowl, now twirl the brushes around in the water, this will show how much dirt is really on those brushes (not nice at all).

STEP 6: If you have Foundation Brushes, they might need to be left for a bit longer as they do consume a lot of dirt within the brush.

STEP 7: Next rinse each brush in cold water, this will get rid of any dirt that might still be on your Makeup Brushes.

STEP 8: Now leave your Makeup Brushes to dry, i usually place mine on the draining board to dry for a while, then i will eventually move them on to the towel to dry overnight. (you can also leave them on a radiator to dry too)

STEP 9: If you feel that your Makeup Brushes are taking a long time to dry or if you need to use them straight away, then use your Hairdryer to dry them, i find this really handy as they dry so quick. ( If you do decided to dry them using a Hairdryer, dry them with the handle part of the brush facing you with the bristle end facing the other way, as this will dry them keeping the same shape as they were before you washed them).

And your done....

Now you have SUPER SOFT MAKEUP BRUSHES....(you only have another 2 weeks till you have to wash them again)

When it comes to HAIR CARE, its a nightmare....why?? Because i can't seem to stick to one lot of Shampoo/Conditioner for my hair. So since i colour my hair around every 6 weeks or so (my natural hair colour is a Dark Brown but i dye it Black as i just love that colour) i tend to wash my hair every second or third day depending on how my hair looks as i wear my hair up most of the time. I only every leave my hair down if i'm going on a night out or to an event.

So in between the days i don't wash my hair, i tend to use a Dry Shampoo.  I have used a lot of different brands of Dry Shampoo from Batiste to VO5, which are all really good.  The one that i'm using at the minute is Timotei Pure Dry Shampoo for Normal to Greasy Hair which is infused with Organic Green Tea Leaf. The dry shampoo is dispensed in a lovely fine mist and is very easily absorbed without leaving my hair coated in an annoying residue that some dry shampoo's have a tendency to do. The fragrance smells of a really fresh scent which I love. also it will not leave dark hair looking ashen but absorbs any excess oil and also adds a little volume to the roots too.

On to the day's wen i have to wash my hair, as i have really long hair it does take quite a while to wash it, which is a bit annoying!! So the Shampoo/Conditioner i am using at the minute is Pantene Pro-V Total-Fullness Shampoo and Conditioner which has micro-lifters that boost hair with fullness and revitalizes its strength for a thicker look. Personally it leaves my hair with a healthy looking fullness and a thick look, it also leaves my hair shiny and healthy looking from root to tip. First i rinse my hair with some warm water, i then apply a medium amount of Shampoo and apply it to my hair massaging the shampoo in to the roots and gently working it down throughout the rest of my hair. Next i then rinse and apply my Conditioner, I usually just apply this to the end parts of my hair and leave for a few seconds and then rinse.

Also twice every month to keep my hair colour looking more vibrate i use a Treatment for my hair, the one that i have been using is this Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment with Australian Wild Peach Extract which helps revitalizes dry dull hair for vibrant and luscious looking hair. When it comes to applying the Treatment to my hair, i usually wash my hair with my normal Shampoo. I then apply the Treatment to the roots of my hair working it down to the ends of my hair, i then leave for 3 minutes and then rinse.  I would definitely recommend this for coloured hair as it works wonders on my mine.

So on to Styling and Blowdrying my Hair...the styling part is really simple for me as i already have stright hair i don't need to strighten it...Lucky Me!!  So first i use some VO5 Heat Protection Styling Spray which also leaves my hair shiny and very smooth, i then use my De-Tangling Brush which i use for getting rid of any knots in my hair to make it knot-free.

And then i take my Comb for parting my hair such as my fringe. On to blowdrying my hair, i use a Small Styling Brush along with a Curling Brush which i use for my fringe both of these are from Penneys (Primark).

And that's my Hair Care Routine!!

So the first item i bought this week was this Total Fullness Shampoo by Pantene Pro-v, i am forever changing shampoo's, for some reason or another i can never just stick to one lot of Shampoo. However i have used this brand in the past and i find it really good for my hair so i am going to try my best and see can i stick to using it from now on.  With this type of Shampoo it leaves your hair with great fullness and leaves a thick look to your hair too. It also leaves your hair looking shiny and healthy from root to tip. The Condition is also available with this Shampoo too. I bought this in Sam McCauleys for only €2.37 as it was reduced from €4.75.

Next i bought Johnson's Face Care 'Makeup be Gone' Pampering Wipes for all skin types, i forever buy these face wipes as i find them brilliant for removing my Makeup also with its relaxing Moonflower aroma each wipe prepares my skin for bedtime. I bought these in Tesco for €2.00 which was really good value.

The third item i bought was this Double Effect 48hr Anti-Perspirant with Violet Senses by Nivea which was reduced to €1.98 in Tesco.

The final item i bought for this Week was my favorite Foundation which is Dream Satin Liquid 04 Light Porcelain by Maybelline. This is no doubt my favorite foundation, what i love about it is how it leaves my face with an Air-Brushed Look that i am happy with.  I also love how it feels really light on my skin too. I bought this in Sam McCauley's for €9.99 as it was reduced in price.

And now I'm going to share with you all what I got...

So first up I got RIMMEL SUN SHIMMER INSTANT TAN WATER RESISTANT (MEDIUM MATTE)

RIMMEL EXAGGERATE WATERPROOF EYE DEFINER (250 EMERALD SPARKLE)

RIMMEL EXAGGERATE FULL COLOUR LIP LINER DEFINER (046 ULTIMATE)

So that's WHAT I GOT IN MY RIMMEL GOODY BAG!!

First I bought this Palmolive Nourishing Delight Shower Cream which was reduced to €2.79 and this Sure Crystal Invisible Anti-Perspirant which was also reduced to €1.44.

Next is this VO5 Extra Hold Hairspray (Long Lasting Hold) which was reduced to €1.79 and the final item I picked up was Timotei Pure Dry Shampoo for €2.49.

This is the perfect look for your nails especially for Valentines Day and it doesn't cost that much either...below I will be leaving a quick tutorial on how to give your nails a bit of love on this special day!!

So here is what your going to need....

-Nail Polish Remover   -Cotton Pads
-Band-Aids                  -Scissors
-Red Nail Polish           -Gold Nail Polish
-Towel (to keep the surface clean )

First remove any Nail Polish you might already have on your nails using some Nail Remover and a Cotton Pad.

Next take your around 3 Band-Aids and cut off each end of the Band-Aid using a scissors like the image below.

Cutting 3 Band-Aids, then you will have 6 ends!!

First fold the end part of the Band-Aid and cut out a Heart Shape using your scissors.

Now you have your Heart Shapes....

On to painting your nails, so as its Valentines Day I find the shades Red and Gold ideal for this Nail Look. The Nail Polishes I'm using is this Gold Shade from Boots 17 and Maybelline COLOR Show Vintage Leather (210 Red Grained).

So as you can all see from the image below, I've painted 1 Nail Gold and the other Nail Red....

After leaving your Nails to dry for a while, now place one of your Heart Shapes on to one of your Nails.

And apply your Shade, I decided to apply the Red Shade as I had painted my Nail Gold!! Next then remove the Band-Aid from your nail really slowly, then complete the rest of your nails following the same instructions.

Once you have completed the rest of your Nails, they should look something like this...

Lastly to give your Nails that overall look, apply a Clear Top Coat to your Nails.

So the weekend is upon us yet again, i hope you all have nice plans for it. It's also the SUPER BOWL FINAL, if your a fan who are you rooting for....#Broncos or #Seahawks ?? So as its the SUPER BOWL FINAL, I'm going to share with you guys some really exciting Nail Art Ideas if you are a #Broncos Fan or #Seahawks Fan...

So first up i'm going to start with the Nail Art look in support for the Denver Broncos, for this look I am using the Nail Polish Shades Blue 76 Hard to Resist (Essence), Orange 58 (Essence), White (ChitChat) and a Glitter 105 Polish (NYC).

Keeping with the whole Denver Broncos Theme, first I start off by painting my Nails Orange and Blue like the image below.

I then take the four different nail polishes and start creating the Nail Art Look like so!! I always find it easier to add numbers of players you support to your nails along with a range of different shaped lines and dots still using the shades relating to the teams colours.

So that's my Denver Broncos Nail Art Look!!

Next on to the Nail Art look in support for the Seattle Seahawks, for this look I used the Nail Polish Shades Blue 76 Hard to Resist (Essence), Green (Essence), Sliver (7) and a Glitter 105 Polish (NYC).

So again keeping with the whole Seattle Seahawks Theme, first I started off by painting my Nails in the Shades Green, Sliver and Blue, then I begin creating the Nail Art Look!!

Still keeping with the shades relating to the teams colours, I apply different shaped lines, dots and numbers creating that Nail Art Look!!

And that's my Seattle Seahawks Nail Art Look!!

The Nail Polish that I have on my Nails today is by CATRICE 'Ultimate Nail Lacquer' Shade 720 Bruno Brownani.

This Nail Polish leaves your Nails with Ultimate Shine and Ultimate Coverage. Also with its flat and professional brush this ensures perfect colour application with just one stroke of the brush.

To finish off my look I then applied some Blue Nail Polish which is by Essence Shade 76 Hard to Resist.

Here i'm going to be sharing with some Beauty Products that i have bought. Below i'll be leaving some info on where i bought each product and the price too.

So first up i bought HERBAL ESSENCES 'Ignite My Colour', i have used this in the past. Most recently i had been using the Volumizing Shampoo in this brand, but yet again i have changed back to the first one that i had used. This is really based on the fact that my hair is colored, so with the help of this shampoo this will leave my hair looking more vibrant every time i wash it. I bought this in TESCO for €2.79 as it was on offer.

I also bought my favorite Dry Shampoo that i am also talking about, BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO FLORAL AND FLIRTY BLUSH which i bought in ALDI'S for €2.49.

Next up i bought this NIVEA HAPPY TIME SHOWER CREAM with Caring Bamboo Milk and Uplifting Scent of Orange Blossom. Once you have smelt this Shower Cream, you wouldn't know whether to eat it or using it as a Shower Cream, it smells gorgeous. I have used this brand in the past and have to say the Shower Cream itself leaves your skin feeling wonderfully soft and smelling beautiful. I bought this in DUNNE STORES for only €0.99cent as it was also on offer.

I also picked up a packed of these JOHNSON & JOHNSON 'MAKEUP BE GONE' PAMPERING WIPES, this are the wipes i use all the time to re-move my makeup. I would definitely recommend you guys buying these because they really do work, i think that's why i keep buying them all the time. I bought these in TESCO for €2.00 as they were on offer.

I then bought a new toothbrush (i needed one), the one that i bought was this COLGATE SLIM SOFT DEEP CLEANING TOOTHBRUSH which is PINK!! (ah my favorite color). I bought this in TESCO for €2.99, unfortunately this wasn't on offer like the majority of the products that i have mentioned above that were on offer.

Next up is some MAKEUP PRODUCTS, first i bought my favorite LONG LASTING EYELINER BY ESSENCE (SHADE 01 BLACK FEVER), which was €1.99 and this EYESHADOW POT ALSO BY ESSENCE (SHADE 09 GET READY, SHIMMER EFFECT), which was also €1.99 both this Makeup Products are from LLOYDS PHARMACY. I tend to go to that pharmacy a lot due to them having a great ESSENCE MAKEUP RANGE.

I hope you all enjoy MY BEAUTY TUESDAY BLOG!! Don't forget if you want to keep up to date with STYLISH AND FABULOUS, make sure to CHECK OUT my TWITTER, FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM & PINTEREST PAGES for a lot more.

I bought this in SuperValu for only €3.49 from €7.00 (i think it was down from that price). I have used this in the past and i have found it really good on my skin.

The Cream consists of a light formula that not only hydrates for 24hrs, but with it enriched with vitamin E this helps protect skin against external aggressions.  It is also enriched with Grape Water which smells gorgeous. I have used this in the past, and i have to say i found it really good for my skin, so i can't wait to start using this again on my skin.

If you do live near a SuperValu, go check out this offer in store today!!

So first i'm going to start off with this BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO FLORA & FLIRTY BLUSH FRAGRANCE, i bought this in ALDI'S as they were selling it for €2.49 which is a lot cheaper then buying it in most other shops. As you all already know i LOVE using Dry Shampoo, it saves me having to wash my hair everyday and it also gives my hair a lovely refreshing boost. So if you already haven't used Dry Shampoo before, what you waiting for....go try it now!!
