May 'Getaway' Glossybox: Review

For today's post I am going to be sharing with you all my review of the May 'Getaway's Glossybox.

 May's Glossybox was filled with a variety of products to take with you on that ultimate getaway and this months box is also dedicated to urban getaways , depicting London, Paris, New York and Berlin.

The box in which I received was the Berlin Edition, and all the urban getaway boxes are all designed by OMY Studios.

So lets dive in and review this months box and up first I am going to start off with the Selfie and The City pic in which everyone would have received in there boxes for this month as it was a competition in which Glossybox was holding where you could win a luxury trip to which ever city edition box you received in my case mine was a trip to Berlin.

 I thought this was a pretty cool way to hold a competition and above all eles you were able to take a selfie in your chosen city which was really cool.

Anyway enough about the Selfie and The City, lets move on to the products inside the box.

Hair On Zeor Crease Hair Ties

So up going to kick off with these Zero Crease Hair Ties. These hair ties come in a pack of three and are in a bright pink colour. They promise to never leave a kink or a crease in your hair and I have to say they are completely right. With me having long hair I often find these type of hair ties perfect for my hair as they don't pull on my hair or rub against the surface of hair either. Funny enough theses hair ties remind me of telephone cables except for the bright colour but altogether they are brilliant for tying your hair up with so I would defiantly recommend them too you all. Absolute New York Velvet Lippie 

I can't keep up with the amount of lipsticks I have received since joining Glossybox, they do love there lippys just like me!! It feels like barley a month goes by without getting a lipstick. This time its the turn of this Velvet Lippie which is from Absolute New York. These lippies come in a variety of shades, the shade I received was AVL06 Terracotta which i was delighted with as its a shade that suits my complexion. It also has a lovely smell to it and it applies really well on to my lips and lasts throughout the day!! Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection Lotion (Ultra Radiance) 

Staying with whole theme of 'Getaway's', my next product is this Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection Ultra Radiance Lotion which has SPF30. I was meant to have received the Hawaiian Tropic Dry Oil but unfortunately it wasn't in my box but was stated on the editorial piece, so I was sent out a replacement product along with an extra gift which i will share with you all later in the blog. But going back to the product in question and even though we haven't had much sun in Ireland over the past few weeks, there was a spell of sunshine a few weeks priory to when I received this product which meant I got to try it out on my skin!! With the Hawaiian Tropic Lotion it smells gorgeous and the lotion itself absorbs really quick into the skin keeping you protected from the sun. It's also important to keep your skin protected from UVA and UVB rays all year round so this product will come in handy!!

Bee Good Youth Enhancing Plump and Firm Moisturiser

I was delighted when I opened May's Glossybox and seen this product. My facial skincare routine has always been priority for me as I have a really good skin and I want to take care of it now and in the years to come!! Although I love keeping to the same products, I do however love to try new products at the same time. Now that I have started using this moisturiser in the mornings i feel that it has started to plump my skin and leaving it feeling incredible soft. It also leaves a lovely glowing look to my skin which I am delighted with as sometimes if i'm in the house for the day i would tend not to wear as any makeup so this is where this Bee Good Youth Moisturiser comes in handy!! Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara 

Next up is the final item out of the May Getaway's Glossybox and its this Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara. I love getting Mascara's from Glossybox because they really do pick the ones that I love the most!! For this months box, Glossybox were giving you the chance to choose one of Revlons Five New Mascara releases, but unfortunately I didn't get there in time to pick one but i was super delighted to receive the Dramatic Definition Mascara. What I love about this mascara is its smooth and flexible formula which coats each lash for a clump free separation which I do look for in a mascara. It also adds beautiful definition to my lashes which gives a lovely sleek look to them which makes me very happy. If you are looking for a mascara that adds definition and drama to your lashes then this is the mascara for you!! 

Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask

I also want to mention the bonus product in which I received with my Hawaiian Tropic Lotion as well and that was a Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask and as a huge fan of face masks i was delighted to receive this. ON the back of the packaging it state that the Clean Cooling Clay Mask is a wonder refreshing deep cleansing treatment that draws out deep seated dirt and impurities while soaking up excess oil and helping prevent blemishes. So I'm looking forward to using it and putting it to the test!! 

Overall I am very happy with this month's box, its a variety of products which can get you ready for that ultimate getaway whether its a City Break, a Sun Holiday or a Hotel Stay!!
