REVIEW: NYC SMOOTH SKIN PERFECTING PRIMER!!

Welcome to today's blog post, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. It was my birthday over the weekend, so i got quite a few presents including a new bag which i will be sharing with you all in my 'Birthday Blog Post' later in the week!! Unfortunately I didn't do quite a lot as it was on a Sunday and it was a complete wash out with the weather here in Ireland, so i decided to spend it with my family by having a quite Sunday Lunch. Anyway moving on to today's post and as you can all see from the title above i am going to share with you all this review on New York's Color Primer which i have been raving about for the last couple of months!!
I have been a big fan of NYC Products for the last year in a half or so, from their face-care to their nail-care i have tried the lot, but one product that i recently picked up which has just kept me going back for even more is there 'Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer; which i have been using everyday underneath my favorite foundation!!
NYC (New York Color) Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer is an affordable primer which is perfect for any skin type. Once you have applied this too your face it instantly revives dull looking skin and gives your skin a healthy looking boost of radiance which now and again your skin really needs!! It also leaves your skin super smooth and very moisturised throughout the day!!
This product comes in a standard squeeze tube which is quite handy as it can fit in your everyday makeup bag!!
Then once you squeeze this product out, there is quite a lot of shimmer to this primer along with its white consistency.
At first i felt this primer looked a little too white for my liking but once it is massaged/rubbed into the skin it blends in really fast and leaves your skin with a shimmer/illuminating look to it, which i feel is great priory to applying your favouite Foundation.

Before i share with you all my thoughts on it, firstly i do want to highlight to you all that i have been using this product on a regular basics such as applying it to my face before i head to work and if i was going out on a night-out!!
So usually if i was heading out to work on a normal day, i would firstly start off with my morning routine of washing my face with an exfoliator and then moisturising using my favorite moisturiser. With all that done i would then apply a genourise amount of NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer to my face gently massaging it into my face.
I then blend into in my skin just like a moisturiser making sure that every part of face including forehead, eyelids and neckline is fully covered. Overall it leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft, plus it also leaves it with a nice shimmer too!!
Next i then apply my favourite foundation which is Maybelline Better Skin Foundation in the Shade 004 Nude to my face using my blending sponge as i find this perfect for applying my favourite foundation!!!
Then I apply the rest of my makeup to my face!!
VERDICT:
Overall i love using NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer on my skin. I feel this is a really good Primer to use under my skin just before applying foundation!! Also with it been so affordable it really does work considering how cheap it really is!! As i mentioned above I have been using this for over a couple of months now and i love using it in my everyday makeup routine, it feels super soft on my face once i have applied it and it also leaves a lovely shimmer look to it too!!
Throughout the day/night time it lasts very well as my makeup doesn't appear to move or fade from my face. Generally before i head on a night out i like to apply a double layer of Primer just so my makeup lasts throughout the night as with heat and humid air your makeup can rub or disappear quite easily.
