MAKEUP MONDAY: QUICK AND EASY SUMMER LOOK!!

Hi Guys and Welcome to today's blog post. Sorry for the lack of blogging throughout last week, i had a very busy week. Friday was a very sad day, our cat Buttons passed away at the age 19. Its mad to think she lived all them years, we are now in discussions to getting two kittens as we always like to replace an animal when it dies!! I will keep you all updated on the progress!!  How was everyone's weekend?? I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I had a fairly quiet one however I did go out Saturday Night which was really nice and yesterday I went to the beach with a friend as the weather here in Ireland has been lovely for the past couple of day.....long may it continue.  Here is a pic from my trip to the beach yesterday!! 

So as today is Monday it can only mean one thing its.....MAKEUP MONDAY!! and for today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you this really Quick and Easy Summer look which combines of Pink and Brown Shades.

So lets begin.....

To start off I apply CLEAR & CLEAN MORNING ENERGY CREAM (this wakes me up in the morning) only kidding!! With its Lemon and Papaye Extract it brightens my skin to leave a lovely glow on my skin. I also love using this as a base for when I apply my Foundation in the mornings too.

Next its on to Foundation, the foundation that I use is DREAM SATIN LIQUID SHADE 04 LIGHT PORCELAIN MAYBELLINE, I apply this using a basic Foundation Brush.

As its Summer I then apply NATURAL MINERALS BRONZER SHADE 01 SUN POWDER by MAXFACTOR to my face, I apply this to the different areas of my face such as to my cheekbones, my hairline and jaw line, I like to call it 'Making the number 3 on your Face'. I also defined my Brows too, using my BROW PENCIL from PENNY'S (PRIMARK)....which I can't live without!!

Now on to my EYESHADOW LOOK...first I apply this 39 VANILLA (WHITE SHADE) from my ESTEE LAUDER DELUXE EYESHADOW PALETTE to my brow bone. 

I then apply this 06 ROSEBERRY DUO ROSE also from my ESTEE LAUDER DELUXE EYESHADOW PALETTE to my eyelid.

Next I then take this 45 MINK (BROWN SHADE) again from my ESTEE LAUDER DELUXE EYESADOW PALETTE to the crease of my eye creating a soft smokey look. 

To keep it looking really summery I decided to apply a LIGHT PINK SHADE from ULTIMATE COLOR PALETTE to the corner of my eyelid while blending it in with the shade already on my eyelid to give a two tone look.

To finish off my eye look, I then apply some BLACK EYELINER by ESSENCE to my lower lash line and some LANCOME HYPNOSE MASCARA to my lashes to give some volume.

Next I then apply some LANCOME BLUSH SHADE 02 ROSE SABLE to my cheeks to give that extra glow. For my lips I first apply some NATURAL BEESWAX to lips just to keep them feeling really soft and then I apply some Lipstick, the lipstick I'm using here is BY KATE FROM RIMMEL SHADE 101 (soft pink shade) to my lips. This is a perfect shade for summer!!

And there you have it my take on a QUICK AND EASY SUMMER LOOK!!
