Hi Guys, Welcome to Fridays Blog. I hope you are all having a really good day. As today is Friday....Its the FITNESS FRIDAY BLOG!! and today i'm going to be sharing with you all my tips on WALKING. I will also be leaving you all a WALKING LOG below for you all to keep track of your walking.
10 Benefits of Walking!!
Walking should be up to you, from your pace to the length of your walk and how much you should walk a day. Generally when starting to Walk on lengthy walks, you should start off my doing up to 15 minutes a day then progress to 30 minutes or so this will help build your walking progress as you go. It is also good to have a Walking Log and a Simple Starter Walking Chart to keep you on track of your progress and to keep you motivated.
How long should i walk to loose weight?
You will get the most benefits of fat burning when you walk continuously for 30 minutes or more. This will help with loosing weight and tone your muscles even more.
How long should i walk each week?

Regular walking is good for you because cardio vascular exercise strengthens your heart and your lungs, increasing your overall fitness. With a good diet and an exercise plan, it can help with weight loss and of course tone up your muscles.

- Time spent on walking per week should be around 5 to 10 hours
- On your day of non-walking, do a workout of strengths
- If you find yourself tired or exhausted, take a day off and return to walking the next day.
Why should you stretch before and after walking?
You should always stretch when you go for a walk. Its important to prepare the muscles and then return them to a resting state after your walk. Warm and lengthened muscles work a lot more efficiently. The cooling down process leaves your body lengthened and reduces any soreness you may have after walking or after exercise.
