My Winter Hands & Nails Routine!!

Hi Guys and Welcome to Mondays Christmas Blog, I hope you all had a great weekend. For today's Christmas Blog I'm going to be sharing with you My Winter Hands & Nails Routine. I'll be leaving a step by step guide in to how I care for my hands and nails throughout winter.

So when it comes to my hands I like to keep them lovely and soft through out winter, however they do tend to get very dry so here is the routine I use: 

First I created my own Lemon Hand Scrub by using 2 tbsp of Sugar, 2tbsp of Lemon/Lemon Juice and 2 drops of Vanilla Essence. (All from the cupboard) 

I then mix the ingredients together creating the Lemon Scrub.

Next take the Lemon Scrub and apply to your hands. Rub the Scrub into your hands (use a washing hands technique).

Once done, soak your hands in some warm water and dry.

On to my Nails, so as I want to apply a different nail polish, i now take some Nail Polish Remover and a Cottonwool Pad to remove the Nail Polish. (Any brand of Nail Polish Remover will do)

Next on to taking care of my nails, i start off by shaping my Nails using a Nail File and using a Wooden Cuticle Pusher for my Cuticles.

After I have taken care of my Nails, first I apply some Nail & Cuticle Care Cream by No7 to my Cuticles to soften them. I then take some Hand Cream by Neal's Yard Remedies and apply to my hands. This cream is fantastic for dry hands, the cream leaves my hands feeling lovely and soft.

Next I then apply my Nail Polish, I would generally put on a basecoat but I didn't have any left. So I just applied my chosen Nail Polish which is Essence Colour & Go, shade 76 Hard to Resist. After letting them dry I then apply a Clear Top Coat which is by No7.

And here is the results....super soft hands and gorgeous nails!!
