My Carrot and Honey Winter Facemask!!

Hi guys and Welcome to day 2 of the Christmas Blog, I hope you our all having a wonderful day where ever you all are in the world. For today's blog I'm going to be sharing with all of you guys this beautiful refreshing Facemask that I use throughout Winter time. I am a very BIG fan of homemade facemasks, what I love about making my own facemasks is that I'm using fresh fruit and vegetables which are really good for the skin. For this one I'm using Carrots, not only are carrots good for your health, but they can also tone and clarify your skin. I find that this facemask leaves my face feeling soft and looking bright, so hopefully it will do the same for your face too.

This is a basic facemask which is really easy to make.

To begin take 2 Carrots and some Honey.

STEP 1: Slice your Carrots

STEP 2: Then put your sliced carrots into a saucepan along with some water, I always tend to boil the carrots but you can steam them either the choice is yours!!

STEP 3: After boiling/steaming the carrots, make sure to check that they our soft with a fork. Then drain them using a sieve.

STEP 4: Leave the carrots to cool for a few minutes, then mash the carrots.

STEP 5: Once you have mashed them, next add a tablespoon of honey and mix together.

STEP 6: Now that your facemask mixture is complete, leave it too cool down for a while. Your mixture should be a paste-like texture (do check the consistency to make sure it's not too clumpy or too runny, if so add a small amount of honey to get the right texture).

STEP 7: All that's left is too apply it to your face, apply onto a clean and bare face (do avoid the eye and mouth area). Leave it on for 10 - 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water afterwards. Then dry your face and then apply your favourite moisturiser.

I hope you all enjoyed today's Christmas Blog on My Winter Facemask, do leave a comment below or on twitter about how you all got on with it. Make sure to check back tomorrow for day 3 of the Christmas Blog.

Stay Stylish and Fabulous x
