Below I'll be leaving a list of want your going to need along with a step by step guide on how to make it!!

So first this is want your going to need:

INGREDIENTS
CAKE MIXTURE
6oz Plain Flour
6oz Flora Original Butter
6oz Caster Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
2 Tablespoons of Coco Powder
1 Tablespoon of Milk
3 Eggs

FOR THE ICING
8oz Icing Sugar
4oz Margarine
1 Tablespoon of Milk
2oz Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Coco

UTENSILS
Grease Proof Paper
2 Cake Tins
1 Large Bowl
Weighing Scales
Spatula
Electric Whisk
Serving Plate
Spoon

STEP 1: First take your 2 Cake Tins and your Grease Proof Paper. Place your Tin on the paper and draw around the tin, when your done then cut the circle out.

STEP 2: Next grease your tins using a little butter, then place the paper in the tins and apply a little more butter on top to prevent the cake sticking to the tin.

STEP 3: Now that your preparation is done for the cake, it's now time to start on the mixture. First add 6oz's of Plain Flour then 6oz's of Caster Sugar into a large bowl, don't forget to sieve both.

STEP 4: Next add 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder and 2 Tablespoons of Coco Powder to the mixture.

STEP 5: Then add 6oz's of Flora Original Butter, 3 Eggs and 1 Tablespoon of Milk to the mixture and whisk using an Electric Whisk.

STEP 6: After whisking, the mixture should have a smooth texture to it, If you have added more coco powder to the mixture it will look a little darker.

STEP 7: Now it's time to divide the mixture between the two tins, make sure they are both level and weigh around the same mixture by lifting both tins.

STEP 8: Then place in the Oven at Gas Mark 4 for 25 Minutes until risen and firm to touch.

STEP 9Remove from oven, leave to cool before turning out onto a cooling rack.

STEP 10: Once they have cooled, then turn each cake out on to the cooling racks.

STEP 11: On to making the Icing, first weigh the Ingredients your going too need.

STEP 12: Put your Margarine into a sauce pan on the stove, then add your Granulated Sugar and beat well.

STEP 13: Then add 1 tablespoon of Milk to the mix.

STEP 14: Next add your Icing Sugar and 2 Tablespoons of Coco Powder then beat together. After beating together then leave the icing to cool.

STEP 15: Now that both cakes have cooled, it's now time to ice them!!

STEP 16: Using your spatula evenly spread the icing over both cakes.

STEP 17: Now sandwich the two cakes together and then it's on to icing the top and sides of the
cake using your Icing.

STEP 18: Once you have finished Icing your cake, it's on to decorating it. I bought these really cute Christmas Sugar Decorations in Aldi's and placed them on top to make the cake look more Festive.

STEP 19: It's now time to try it!!
