Bake Day Friday!!
Hi Guys and Welcome to Day 5 of the Christmas Blog, I hope you our all having a great day. For today's blog I'm going to be doing a Bake Day Friday Blog, I'm going to be sharing with all of you how to make these Golden Castle Puddings. I'll be leaving a step by step guide on how to make them below.
So first this is what you are going to need:
INGREDIENTS
125g/4oz Butter
125g/4oz Caster Sugar
A few drops of Vanilla Essence
2 medium Eggs, beaten
125g/4oz Self-Raising Flour
4tbsp Golden Syrup
UTENSILS
1 Large Bowl
1 Small Bowl
Electric Whisk/Whisk
4 Small Ramekin Dishes
1 Sauce Pan
Weighting Scales
Spoon
STEP 1: First pre-heat your oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4, then prep your Ramekin Dishes by putting some butter in to each one so that when your mixture is in them they won't stick.
STEP 2: Measure your Butter and Caster Sugar to the right amount. Then place them into your large bowl and beat together until the mixture is creamy.
STEP 3: Make sure to have your eggs beaten in a separate bowl and your flour sieved before adding to the mixture.
STEP 4: While beaten your mixture, stir in the Vanilla Essence and gradually add the beaten eggs, a little at a time. Also add a tablespoon of flour after each addition of egg and beat well.
STEP 5: Next place your mixture into your Ramekin Dishes, try and level them out so they all have the same amount of mixture in them. Place them on a tray and leave in the oven for about 25 minutes until firm and golden brown.
STEP 6: Now allow the puddings to stand for 5 minutes.
STEP 7: Next warm the golden syrup in a small saucepan and pour a little over each pudding.
And there you have it YUMMY Golden Castle Puddings.
I hope you all enjoyed today's blog, make sure to check back on Monday for Day 6 of the Christmas Blog.
Have a great weekend guys!!
