Independence Day Nail Art!
As today is the 4th of July ‘Independence day', I
wanted to share with you this really easy Nail Art Tutorial so that you can get
in the mood for Independence Day celebrations even if your American or
not. So here’s what you’re going to need
to achieve this look…
White Shaded Nail Polish (I’m using a cheap polish from a
set)
Red Shaded Nail Polish (Bourjois Paris No Chips)
Blue Shaded Nail Polish (Essence Colour & Go no76 Hard
to Resist)
Glittery Shaded Nail Polish (Peace Keeper ‘Paint me
Luminous) (optional)
Step 1 If you have an previous nail polish on your nails
remove with nail remover or use a clear base coated nail polish.
Step 2 Apply white nail polish and give around 2 coats. Then leave to dry.
Step 3 After letting my nails dry, I decided to apply a
glitter polish just to give my nails a bit of a sparkle effect, this is
optional. Then leave to dry.
Step 4 Next use a red polish and apply 2 red stripes to
either side of your nails. Then leave to dry.
Step 5 Then take your blue polish and drag the brush across
the tip of your nail (half way). Then leave to dry.
Step 6 Finally if you do have any Nail Art ‘Stars’ then
apply to the tip part of your nails, or if you’re like me I had to improvise
and create dots at the tip of my nails which worked out quite well.
