Shade of the Day

For today’s blog I wanted to share with you  my favourite nail polish of the day, the brand I’m using is Bourjois Paris ‘So Laque’, the shade is Vert Chlorophylle 61.  This nail polish is absolutely fab I love it, the shade is very summery it is also ultra-shine and can hold for up to 7 days.  I’ve been using it now for the past couple of days and I have to say it’s a good nail polish that doesn’t chip, I would definitely recommended it as a top shade for summer.

Make Your Own Foot Exfoliator!!

Over the past couple of years I like to try out my own remedies, especially exfoliators and face masks.  I like to make them naturally by using all natural ingredients such as lemons and honey.  So for today’s blog I’ve decided to introduce you into making your very own exfoliators using ingredients you would find at home in your kitchen.  So today’s exfoliator will be for the feet, if you’re like me suffering sore, tired and dry skin, then this could be the exfoliator that you need.

Ingredients

2 Lemons (I buy lemon juice)
1 ½ cup of granulated sugar (you can also use brown sugar)
1 teaspoon of olive oil (or a drop of vanilla extract, as I didn’t have olive oil)
1 tablespoon of Forest Honey.

So let’s begin.....
1.       First put the granulated sugar in to a small bowl depending on how much you want to make, in this case I wanted to make a small amount, so I just added a half a cup.

2.       Next add a tablespoon of lemon juice to the sugar and mix

 3.       After mixing you will now see that the mixture has become quite lumpy.

4.       Next add a tablespoon of Forest Honey and mix

5.       You will now see that it has changed colour.

6.       Finally add a few drops of Olive Oil or in my case Vanilla extract into the bowl and mix.

7.       For your final step, put some warm water into a basin and use a spare pair of exfoliating gloves to start the exfoliating of your feet.  After exfoliating then soak your feet in the warm water then dry and apply a rich foot moisturiser.

and there you have it lovely soft feet!!
