Monday's Blog
HI
Hi...guys I hope everyone had a great weekend. I decided to have a quiet one, however I did
have a browse around some shops and I did buy a couple of nice products. I will be sharing these products in which I
bought, with all of you in my ‘Monday’s Mini Shopping Haul’ and to wipe away
them Monday blues I’m going to show you all how to make your own facemask out
of natural ingredients.
Enjoy and
Stay Stylish and Fabulous x
Monday’s Mini Shopping Haul!!
1 Vaseline Sheer Infusion, Mineral Renewal Body Lotion
I bought this body lotion to try it out on my skin, with its enriched minerals like those found in healthy skin. The lotion is designed to work differently for super moisture and a unique silky feel to your skin. (This lotion is available in most Supermarkets and Pharmacy’s)
2 Boots Dry Shampoo ‘Paradise Island’
I’ve decided to give Boots Dry Shampoo a try. As I am a massive fan of Dry Shampoo, I’m
always on the lookout for new brands to try out. Although I wash my hair twice a week, I like
to use Dry Shampoo in between washes to keep my hair clean, looking and feeling
good. (This Dry Shampoo is available in
most Boots Stores)
3 Breakfast at Tiffany’s ‘Audrey Hepburn’ Perfume
As I was browsing around boots looking at Dry Shampoo I came
across this perfume called Breakfast at Tiffany’s and as I am a HUGE fan of
Audrey Hepburn’s Style I just had to have it.
For some reason or another I seemed too drawn to it by the whole look of
the box which I love. The fragrance is absolutely
gorgeous, it smells fresh and clean. It
is also a very long lasting smell and the bottle is beautifully designed. (Was
€24 Now €14 at most Boots Stores)
4. Super Silk Dry Shampoo ‘Tropical’
I bought this Super Silk Dry Shampoo in Tropical to try out
on my hair. As from the previous Dry
Shampoo above I love to try out different brands.
Make your own Facemask!!
So it’s that dreaded Monday upon us once again, so here’s a
facemask to wash away them Monday Blues. From the way I see skin care products
to buy it can be quite expensive to purchase them. Throughout the years I have found, if you can
find the right natural ingredients then you create your very own facemasks knowing
what ingredients our in it. So here is one facemask I would like to share with
all of you….
APPLE MASK-FOR NORMAL SKIN
This mask is great for keeping your skin clear. The honey is great for brightening up dull
skin plus it smells great. So to make
your very own mask, you our going to need…
1 Apple (I decided to use 2)
2 Tablespoons of Honey
Blender (I had to use a food processor instead)
1 small bowl
1 Travel Container
1 Tablespoon
Peel and Slice Apple
Blend the apple in a blender
Add your honey and blend in again
and here's the completed mixture
Next apply to your face and leave it to sit for 20
minutes
Then wash off and then moisturise
and here is the result...lovely soft and glowing skin!!
For moisturising you can use your own regular moisturiser, I
use Garnier Moistrue Match with SPF 20 which I find is really good for
normal skin. Sometimes I like to keep some of the facemask in a travel
container (which our available in Penney’s) so that I can use it again in the next day or so. If you plan to keep the facemask in a travel
container, only keep in fridge for up to 3 days.
